“7 day walking holiday in Croatia with Huck Finn”

This was my first solo holiday so was a bit apprehensive. When I arrived at Dubrovnik Airport Danny was there to meet me. We drove to the hotel in Dubrovnik which was situated in the Old Town and was really lovely. As arranged I met up with the other two people who were joining the group and Daniel and we went for dinner. Everything was so well organised and thereafter everything Danny said he would do he did. We then went to Sipan Island which was beautiful again the Hotel was really nice and very welcoming (and the food delicious). We went to other islands walking and met with Goran and other different groups. Everyone I met on this trip was really friendly and having a good time. Danny and Goran just made everything so much fun. On the last day we went on the Catamarran with Patrick to Ston which was just the icing on the cake. A big thanks to Huck Finn and everyone who made my holiday so memorable and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this holiday.

“No sunshine?...no problem”

My girlfriend and I booked this trip weeks in advance hoping for sun, sand and fun throughout a day of kayaking! Unfortunately somebody had other arrangements and our hopes for sunburned necks and tan lines were ruined. The water was cold, waves were dangerous and it rained all day long. Since safety was a concern, our guide Luka suggested we tour the island on foot instead of boat. Wow did we make the most of a poor weather situation. Luka took us all over the island through forests, along cliffs and out to a 120 year old lighthouse!!!! His knowledge and enthusiasm brightened a dreary situation. Our personalized tour took a turn towards the delicious when he booked reservations at the local mom and pop restaurant. The fresh catch of the day was grilled right next to our table overlooking the sea. Our lunch was fantastic, a perfect way to finalize a memorable hike. Boat skipper Patrik serenaded us on the voyage back home with his classic rock playlist that had our heads rockin more than our catamaran was through the choppy waters!!!!! These guys were 5 stars all damn day!!!!!!

“Catamaran Holiday in the Heart of the Adriatic”

We had a wonderful holiday! We met our friends from the states in Dubrovnik and headed out to sea from there. The crew was amazing and accommodated our every need, thanks Maya and Patrick! From planning great excursions to making dinner reservations they were beyond helpful. We did not have the best weather on the trip so we had to change the itinerary on the fly. It was the perfect combination between sight seeing, exercising, and relaxation. We loaded up with beers and snacks before we set sail which worked out perfectly. Huck Finn is a great organisation and we would highly recommend booking with them.

Back from our wonderful week in Croatia and would like to express our sincere thanks to one and all that we dealt with within your organisation

From my initial contact with you to when we were dropped back to the airport for our return journey I must compliment the professional and personnel way our holiday was handled.

Over the past six/seven years I have organised for our group to go to various countries & we have enjoyed everyone of the holidays, but I think our trip to Croatia must rank as one of the best.

From our initial meeting with Goran at the airport followed by our meeting with Mijet, we really felt that we could relax and switch off from any planning of ways to get around our journeys, walks, restaurants etc as it became obvious very quickly that we were in excellent hands.

Over the course of the next few date we spent time with Goran, Luca, Daniel & Patrick each member of your company were a credit to Croatia and to your organisation. Nothing was too much trouble and they really looked after us and ensured we had a wonderful holiday also they really added to the fun side of the holiday, which is most important.

Where value for money was concerned we felt that the holiday was outstanding value and “patricks" catamaran was icing on the cake. Again many thanks to you. Mijet and all the "boys".

Just got back from one of the best holidays of my life. The setting was wonderful. Lopud was not over crowded, was unspoilt, very beautiful and the sea was spotless and very warm. The accomodation (Villa Sarah) was very clean, looked newly renovated and was the base house for the operation so was where everyone ate breakfast together and where we had several evening meals. Paula who runs the kitchen there is an amazing cook and we ate really well all week and in fact her meals were better than those in the local restaurants. Meal times were really social allowing you to mix with the other members of the group and also with different guests who were staying on other trips through the company...

just a quick note now that we are back in good old Germany: we enjoyed the week with the team very much. Thanks Peggy for a great city tour, a wonderful Catamaran tour - and Nikolina for the extraordinary nice week. Both as a professional tour guide and as a person we could not have found a better person accompanying us during this week. Thank you!

Just finished my stay on the paradise island that is Lopud with Huck Finn. The managing director came personally to captain the yacht on the last day for us on what was the most amazing holiday experience I’ve had. The guides and staff were so friendly and full of local knowledge a real credit to the company. Special recognition to my guide Goran for being an absolute pro throughout at his job as well as being a top bloke all round. This I feel was the first but far from the last time I will be having trips with this company. If you love good people, a wealth of culture and history mixed with the excitement and adrenaline of doing something new or something you love in the midst of some of the world’s most beautiful landscapes and scenery you won’t be disappointed with the vast options Huck Finn have to offer. No I don’t work for the company but if I had the chance I would as they make you feel like family from even before the day you arrive. This was the first of I hope many excursions I will have with Huck Finn and Croatia. Thank you all with much love.

I really had a great time sailing the Adriatic with Huck Finn. Particularly our tour guide Goran and skipper Mare were absolutely fantastic making sure everything was perfect and we had a wonderful time. They were both very active and fun people. Goran took a lot of care in us having wonderful things to do all the time and that we saw the best and didn't get bored. He was also very knowledgeable about the area. Mare did a great job with the boat. I can't recommend this holiday hardly enough and these two people were absolutely wonderful. I had a great time thanks to their efforts. Well done Huck Finn on recruiting such great guides.

Riding routes selected were great scenic, and safe. National park hikes and rides were well chosen and very scenic as well. We had a wonderful holiday overall.

Amazing, exciting, beautiful, funny and lovely. Dinner with the guides were amazing.
